I absolutely love live edge and so do my customers and it seems anytime I have live edge cutting boards or charcuterie boards at the market my customers are lining up to see what is new and exciting.

Normally I reserve my live edge pieces for sale only at the market but that's about to change.  Since adopting my Shopify POS system on my iPad I now have easy access to the products listed on my site and can sell them directly from the online store from virtually anywhere...  So I'm excited to introduce these wonderful large heavy duty Birdseye maple chopping blocks to my online store.

Individually handcrafted from locally sourced Birdseye maple these cutting blocks are made to last and handle any cutting job asked of them.  Each one is unique, a true one-of-a-kind piece of functional art that will have your friends talking about it every time you entertain.

I've included walnut feet to each board adding an interesting design contrast to the natural beauty of the chopping surface and rugged live edge.  I just love the way these anchor the chopping block to the kitchen counter.

Many customers have told me other cutting boards they own often slip or skid on their granite counter tops especially when the bottom side gets wet.  No problem! I've included as standard additional rubber mounting feet to help prevent skidding and offer a safer cutting surface on granite or other surfaces.

The size of these Birdseye maple chopping blocks varies as does the color and grain of the wood itself.  Please remember no two blocks are the same and the product photo's represent a typical look only and not the exact board you'll purchase.
